Born in 1991, the Rome-resident Silvia Pelissero, better known as agnes-cecile, is already making waves in the art world. A self-taught painter, Silvia creates portraits that are as intense as they are delicate. Figurative and abstract elements melt together, pierced by razor sharp details set against blurred gradients of colour. Experimenting with subtle watercolours and acrylic explosions, she is always trying out new techniques.
