German artist Maptastix takes a highly innovative approach to design. Building by building, street by street a city is born, becoming a living organism, impossible to understand from the ground. By importing satellite data into a 3D program, Maptastix visualises the exact three-dimensionality of topography and buildings. The result is a fingerprint of the metropoleis that we call home.
