Women's empowerment, food, fashion, colour and cosy corners – the main pillars of my work.

Mexican/American painter and certified cat-mum, Paloma Villarreal, exhibits intimate, homely moments in her vivid works. The pieces find pleasure in cluttered spots around the house, in the quiet steeping of a cup of tea, naps, domestic rituals and pantries filled with food – all bursting with colour. Paloma currently resides in Mexico City with her partner and her cats Mr Tumnus and Nissa.
