Sofia Bonati
What I enjoy most is playing with textures and color combinations.
Born into a family of Argentinian artists, illustrator Sofia Bonati studied geology before taking up graphic design and illustration, which she now practices part-time from the UK, her current home. Adding inks, gouache and watercolour to her delicate pencil drawings, Sofia creates portraits of enchanting women with a look of mystery in their eyes. She attributes the development of her surrealist style to the likes of Charles Bragg, and takes equal inspiration from the likes of Klimt, Klee and Modigliani.
